Re-opening with Classes Starting 1st Sept

Welcome Back!

We would like to say a big welcome back to all our wonderful members. We have made important changes to ensure the gym is safe for you to use. We have followed all the Government guidelines, making sure we are following all the cleaning and safety standards while still making sure that you still get a great workout.

You will not need to pre-book in advance to enter the gym, however you will need to have your temperature taken with a forehead thermometer upon entry. We will also ask that you sign a declaration upon entrance onto the gym, understanding all the new procedures that we have in place and that you will follow them. We do also advise that you wear a mask when attending the gym to help reduce chance of infection. Our opening hours will also remain the same as before.

Cleaning

We will be cleaning the gym more regularly to make sure that it is safe for you all, including every surface and all equipment in the building. However, we do ask that you also help us by cleaning down a machine or piece of equipment before and after using it. We have anti-bacterial sprays and anti-bacterial wipes by all machines so that it makes it easy for you to clean.

Hand Sanitiser

We have placed hand sanitiser stations and bottles all around the gym allowing you to move around the gym with clean hands during your visit. Please can you make sure that you sanitise your hands as you enter the gym to help keep everyone safe.

Staff

You will still be able to talk and ask for advice from our gym staff. All staff will be wearing full PPE protection, allowing you to interact with them at a 2-meter distance. They will also be fully trained on our new cleaning and safety measures to make sure that these are delivered to the highest standard.

Social Distancing

Social distancing must be kept to at all time. We have limited the number of machines that can be used at one time. This allows you the space to work out while keeping a safe distance. The gym has also been rearranged so that there is a one-way system going around the gym. This avoids any close contact in corridors and stairs.

Classes

There will be no classes including bootcamps running for the first few weeks of opening as we want to monitor the level of people that attend the gym, as well as help reduce the chance of the virus spreading. However, classes will re-open from 1st September 2020. A new class timetable will be released shortly.
